How far the message has traveled from the first who initiated the conversation. I am here and you are there. I must send my intentions to you and you must understand what you have received. I manage a spark that lights a pile of brush. I see the smoke rise from the depths of my subconscious and I realize that amongst the darkness, there is meaning. If I can somehow alter the existing meaning and interject my own, I can share this with the universe. "Quickly, lend me your blanket." I will conjugate verbs and introduce contractions. This will revolutionize the way we communicate. I am here and you are there. I will share my thoughts with the world and send these signals up into the air for all to see. But alas, who will see them. And who will understand what they have received. Perhaps someone will have to share my perception. And then we will communicate. Until then, I'll keep rhythmically waving the blanket. And you will believe you understand.
